Lap Swim

At the request of Villages of Wellington residents and the board of directors, we're now offering two lap swim times each day at the Villages pool. From 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. (with one exception: during July, when swim team is practicing and using all 3 lanes) and again from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., one lane of the pool will be roped and dedicated to lap swimmers who want to exercise at the pool. Parents are asked to insure that their children don't dive or jump into, or swim in the lap lane during these times.

Family Swim

Family swim takes place every evening from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. During this time, all children under the age of 16 must either have a parent/adult present watching them or exit the pool. The lifeguards use this hour to clean up the pool and surrounding areas; they're working, but not watching the pool every second. Therefore, for the safety of your children, please watch them carefully during family swim, or have them come home if they're under age 16. (I realize that chances are, if you're concerned enough to be reading this, you're already obeying this rule; please direct your neighbors to the blog!)

Party for Adults at Pool this Saturday, Pool Closed Early

This Saturday, June 13, the pool will be closed at 4:30 p.m. so that the lifeguards and the board/ pool party committee can begin getting the pool ready and decorated for the adult pool party. The party is set to begin at 8:00 p.m.
